Mareike Duin was born on September 23, 1995 in Oldenburg (Oldb). After graduating from high school, she completed a dual course of study with training as an industrial clerk and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. From 2017 to 2019, she worked as a procurement manager.
In 2019, Mareike Duin began a two-subject Bachelor’s degree in Protestant Theology and Social Sciences at the University of Oldenburg. As part of this degree, she spent a semester abroad at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheva. From 2022, she studied for a Master’s degree in Ecumenism and Religions in Oldenburg and completed an internship at the EKD Representation in Brussels.
Mareike Duin has been working as a research associate and head of administration at the DEI in Jerusalem since August 1, 2025.
